I was born and raised in San Diego. When I graduated highschool I had no clue what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to be self employed and have a career that would be flexible for me to be a mom. I loved to do hair so I decided to go to beauty school. In 1999 I graduated beauty school and started as a booth renter. In 2003 I bought the salon I was working at. I sold it when my first child was born. Fast forward to 2013, we decided to move to Texas to be with family. Now a mom of 3 (plus a bonus child), we were uprooting our lives...and my business. Graciously, my clients asked me to travel to do their hair while I built my business in a new state. Traveling every 6 weeks for 2 years was a blessing, but it was time to close that chapter.

 

I now own a window suite located inside of Salon Lofts.  Being in a suite has allowed a very private, cozy space where I am able to give a customized guest experience. I feel the most important part of my job is to really listen and understand the desires of my guests. I am a certified "Business of Balayage" stylist and a previous educator for the color and product line I use. I am constantly taking classes to keep my skills top notch. I specialize in natural, lived in cuts and color that are very easy to maintain. I love to meet new people and knowing that I have the ability to change the way someone feels about themself is the most rewarding thing about what I do.

 

When I'm not at the salon, I am a very busy mama. You will either find me at a cheer gym with my youngest daughter, working out, surfing, or lounging reading a health and wellness book.  I have 2 daughters and a son. My oldest daughter is in college, my son is in to weight lifting, and my youngest is in competitive cheer.  My background is a fitness competitor, and my husband is a power lifter, so our kids are naturally very athletic and very competitive, as we are. We live at the lake so in the summer that is my most favorite place to hang out.
